Invest in your book, not just a service.

How?

It’s berry simple 🫐

At Monzel Editorial, we believe editing should be...

FLEXIBLE

Every edit is a conversation.

Where “rules” stifle your voice, we’ll bend them.

Our goal is to help your writing feel more like itself.

TRANSPARENT

We’re always happy to explain our edits and suggestions.

While we won’t overwhelm you with notes on every tiny tweak, we want you to understand the changes, not just receive them.

SUPPORTIVE

We won’t just deliver your edits and disappear.

Whether you need a quick pep talk or further guidance after edits, we’ve got your back.

Our Story (the editor behind all this)

Hi, Im Zara. Im...an editor. I love to read, and I love the logic of a well-built sentence and a well-structured story. Im just your go-to nerd before you hand in your homework (publish your book).

I started Monzel Editorial because I believe that behind every manuscript is a person with a story to tell. I love being part of the magic behind the scenes. There’s no greater satisfaction to me than helping an author cross the finish line with confidence.

I started off as a generous classmate with good grades, went on to be a non-fiction editor (mostly in academia), before finding my way back to the art of creative writing. Now, I work primarily with indie authors whose only wish is to spread their fun and love in this world – without it costing a limb 🙄

Editing is expensive, and I understand why. The level of analysis, time, and care that goes into an edit is intensive. Its a significant investment, but its an important step that most of us choose to take despite financial constraints because we want to give our babies our best shot. Even editors hire editors, and even we find it costly.

Thats why Monzel Editorial keeps its prices as reasonable as possible. We may still be unaffordable to some, but the best we can do is open up this opportunity for others.
